กองทัพภาคที่ 2 ส่งทีมแพทย์ และทีม M-MCATT เข้าเยียวยาจิตใจทหารที่อยู่ตามฐานปฏิบัติการชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชา ให้จิตใจเข็มแข็งปรับทัศนคติเป็นเชิงบวก ฉีดวัคซีนไข้หวัดใหญ่ พร้อมมอบการ์ดกำลังใจจากนักเรียนในพื้นที่ ขณะที่ สิ่งของบริจาคต่างๆ ได้ส่งถึงแนวหน้าแล้ว

สถานการณ์โดยรวม
ปัจจุบันกองกำลังทั้ง 2 ฝ่าย ยังคงวางกำลังตามแนวที่มั่นของตนเอง ยังคงเตรียมพร้อมและติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด โดยยึดมั่นตามข้อตกลงของการประชุม GBC ที่ผ่านมา

การสร้างขวัญ และกำลังใจในสนามรบ เพื่อความพร้อมต่อการรักษาอธิปไตยของชาติไทย
หน่วยสายแพทย์ กองทัพภาคที่ 2 ได้จัดชุดโรงพยาบาลสนาม พร้อมทีม M-MCATT (ทีมเยียวยาจิตใจ) ลงพื้นที่ฐานปฏิบัติการชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชา เพื่อดูแลและประเมินสุขภาพจิตของกำลังพล โดยมีกิจกรรมพูดคุยให้คำปรึกษา เสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งทางจิตใจ รวมถึงการปรับเปลี่ยนทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมในเชิงบวก เพื่อให้ทหารทุกนายมีพลังใจที่มั่นคงในการปฏิบัติภารกิจ

นอกจากนี้ ยังได้ดำเนินการฉีดวัคซีนป้องกันไข้หวัดใหญ่ เพื่อดูแลสุขภาพร่างกายของกำลังพลอย่างรอบด้าน อีกทั้งยังมีการนำการ์ดอวยพรจากน้อง ๆ นักเรียนในพื้นที่แนวหลังมามอบให้ พร้อมฝากการ์ดจากทหารแนวหน้าส่งกลับไปยังแนวหลัง ซึ่งช่วยสร้างบรรยากาศที่อบอุ่น ผ่อนคลาย และเพิ่มพลังใจให้กับกำลังพลชายแดนอย่างมาก

ผลการดำเนินงานสะท้อนให้เห็นว่า กำลังพลทุกนายมีขวัญและกำลังใจ ที่ดีเยี่ยม พร้อมทุ่มเทปฏิบัติหน้าที่เพื่อประเทศชาติอย่างเต็มกำลัง ทั้งหมดนี้เป็นไปตามนโยบายของผู้บัญชาการทหารบก ที่ให้ความสำคัญกับ “ความเป็นอยู่ทั้งด้านร่างกายและจิตใจ” ของกำลังพลในพื้นที่ชายแดน เพื่อให้ มีความพร้อมในทุกมิติ ยืนหยัดปกป้องอธิปไตยและความมั่นคงของชาติได้อย่างมั่นคงและยั่งยืน

การดำเนินงานด้านจิตอาสา
ศอ.จอส. พระราชทาน จ.อุบลราชธานี โดย น้องๆ นักศึกษา วิทยาลัยเทคนิคอุบลราชธานี สาขาโยธา วันละ 20 นาย ได้มาช่วยงานสำนักงานป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัย จ.อุบลราชธานี ในการสร้าง และซ่อมแซมบ้านเรือนประชาชนที่ได้รับความเสียหายจากสถานการณ์

ศอ.จอส. พระราชทาน มทบ.24 ได้รับมอบสิ่งของ-เครื่องใช้อุปโภค-บริโภค รวมไปถึงสิ่งของจำเป็น และเงินบริจาคจากธารน้ำใจ ชาวอำเภอกู่แก้ว จ.อุดรธานี โดยมี นายอำเภอกู่แก้ว เป็นตัวแทน ส่งมอบ และ จิตอาสา 904, จิตอาสาพระราชทาน และประชาชนจิตอาสา ช่วยขนย้ายสิ่งของ เพื่อสนับสนุนกำลังใจแก่พี่น้องทหารชายแดน และ ศอ.จอส. พระราชทาน มทบ.27 รับมอบสิ่งของเครื่องอุปโภค-บริโภค เครื่องนุ่งห่ม ได้แก่ ข้าวสาร เสื้อยืด ยาหม่อง และรองเท้าผ้าใบนันยางสีดำ จาก โตโยต้า จ.ร้อยเอ็ด และโตโยต้าสาเกตนคร เพื่อสนับสนุนให้แก่ทหารที่ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ตามแนวชายแดน ไทย-กัมพูชา

Border Situation between Thailand and Cambodia
17 August 2025, 1400 hrs

Overall Situation
At present, both Thai and Cambodian forces continue to maintain their positions along the border, remaining on high alert and closely monitoring developments. Both sides have reaffirmed adherence to the commitments made during the recent General Border Committee (GBC) meeting.

Boosting Morale and Combat Readiness
The Medical Corps of the 2nd Army Area has deployed a field hospital unit together with an M-MCATT (Mental Health Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team) to Thai border bases. Their mission is to provide medical care, psychological support, and counseling services for troops stationed along the Thailand–Cambodia frontier.

Activities included health assessments, motivational talks, and positive-behavior programs aimed at strengthening mental resilience among soldiers. Troops were also provided with seasonal flu vaccinations to maintain their physical readiness.
In addition, greeting cards prepared by schoolchildren from the rear areas were delivered to frontline soldiers, who in turn wrote messages of gratitude to send back. This exchange created a warm and encouraging atmosphere, greatly lifting the spirits of the troops.

The results clearly demonstrate that Thai soldiers maintain high morale and strong determination to carry out their duties for the nation. This initiative reflects the policy of the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, who places great emphasis on the “well-being, both physical and mental” of personnel in border areas — ensuring they remain fully prepared to defend Thailand’s sovereignty and security.

Royal Thai Volunteer Activities
• In Ubon Ratchathani province, the Royal Thai Volunteer Center mobilized students from Ubon Ratchathani Technical College (Civil Engineering program), with 20 students per day, to assist the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office. Their work involved building and repairing houses damaged by the ongoing situation.

• In Udon Thani province, the Royal Thai Volunteer Center of the 24th Military Circle received donations of essential goods and funds from the people of Ku Kaeo district (อำเภอกู่แก้ว). The district chief handed over the items, which included food and daily necessities, to Royal Volunteers 904, Royal Thai Volunteers, and community volunteers. These were transported to support troops along the Thai–Cambodia border.

• In Roi Et province, the Royal Thai Volunteer Center of the 27th Military Circle received donations of food, clothing, and essential supplies, including rice, T-shirts, herbal balm, and black Nanyang canvas shoes. The donations were provided by Toyota Roi Et and Toyota Saketnakorn branches, and delivered to soldiers serving at border posts.
